Anne Randles, a veteran of the European dairy policy landscape, has been elected as the new President of Eucolait, the representative body for Europe’s dairy trading companies. Her appointment was confirmed at Eucolait’s annual General Assembly held this week in Copenhagen.

Randles currently serves as the Director of Corporate Affairs at Ornua, Ireland’s largest dairy exporter, and previously held the post of Vice President of Eucolait. She brings more than a decade of experience in European dairy trade policy, international relations, and industry leadership.

A Trusted Voice in European Dairy

Anne Randles has long been regarded as a prominent advocate for the dairy sector, with extensive experience in EU trade negotiations, dairy policy, and stakeholder engagement. She previously served as Secretary General of Eucolait and President of the Civil Dialogue Group on Milk, which provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the European dairy market.

Randles succeeds Frank van Stipdonk of Interfood, who has retired after six years as President. The board expressed deep gratitude for his leadership and longstanding service.

“I am extremely honoured and proud to have been elected by the board of Eucolait,” Randles stated. “Dairy trade globally is facing complex challenges, and I look forward to leading Eucolait in promoting the interests of European dairy in this evolving geopolitical and trade landscape.”

Endorsements and Forward Momentum

Jukka Likitalo, Secretary General of Eucolait, praised Randles’ leadership:

“Her expertise, commitment, and vision are exceptional. I’ve worked with her for over a decade and look forward to deepening our collaboration for the benefit of all Eucolait members.”

Under Randles’ leadership, Eucolait is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of European dairy trade, amid tightening regulations, sustainability transitions, and ongoing global market volatility.
