Haryana is expanding its global partnerships in dairy and agriculture. A 35-member delegation from the Danish Farmers Abroad Association met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday to explore business and investment opportunities in these sectors.

The visiting group included representatives from 20 Danish companies. They expressed keen interest in working with Haryana’s farmers and entrepreneurs. Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana also attended the meeting.

Chief Minister Saini welcomed the delegation and said that Haryana is already cooperating with Denmark on several projects. These focus on improving technology, productivity, and innovation in both agriculture and animal husbandry.

He added that Haryana’s “Go Global” approach encourages international investors to explore opportunities in the state. Moreover, he emphasised that the government provides transparent policies and an investor-friendly environment to ensure ease of doing business.

The Chief Minister invited Danish firms to take advantage of Haryana’s strong infrastructure and skilled workforce. He also highlighted that the state promotes business-to-business partnerships to exchange technology and expertise. Consequently, this cooperation could lead to better dairy practices, higher milk production, and improved farm incomes.

Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana said Haryana’s progressive farmers are open to adopting modern techniques. In addition, he mentioned that a Haryana delegation had earlier visited several African countries to study their farming systems and best practices.

The Danish delegation also toured several agricultural and dairy farms across Haryana. They examined local practices and identified areas for collaboration. Therefore, their visit is expected to open new paths for investment in dairy technology, livestock management, and sustainable farming.

Overall, the meeting marked another step towards Haryana’s goal of becoming a leading hub for agri-dairy innovation in India.
