Kerala Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development J Chinchurani announced that the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma) has launched a comprehensive recruitment drive to strengthen its human resources and ensure more efficient operations across its network.
The initiative aims to address manpower gaps within dairy unions and affiliated societies, supporting Milma’s efforts to modernise production, enhance quality assurance, and improve service delivery to farmers and consumers alike.
Minister Chinchurani noted that building a robust workforce is vital to sustaining Milma’s growth and competitiveness in Kerala’s dynamic dairy sector. The recruitment drive aligns with the government’s broader vision of empowering rural communities and strengthening cooperative institutions through capacity building and employment generation.
Milma continues to play a central role in Kerala’s dairy economy, ensuring fair prices for farmers while delivering safe, quality milk and milk products to consumers.
