In his most recent role as Vice President – Olam Food Ingredients (Aug 2023 – Feb 2025), Parvataneni led India’s Dairy Trading division, where he managed sourcing, supply-demand planning, and profit optimization. He was instrumental in establishing a sustainable supply chain and spearheading the procurement of key dairy commodities, ensuring efficiency and reliability in operations.
Prior to Olam, he had a remarkable 16-year tenure at Britannia Industries Limited (May 2007 – Jul 2023). As Head of Milk Procurement (2017 – 2023), he developed procurement strategies, built infrastructure, and designed farmer engagement programs to enhance milk sourcing efficiency. His efforts contributed to strengthening Britannia’s dairy supply network and ensuring consistent quality in its products. During his tenure as Senior Manager – Operations (2007 – 2017), he played a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing and sourcing of various dairy products, including cheese, curd, UHT milk, ghee, dairy whitener, and butter. His expertise in managing third-party collaborations and optimizing dairy operations set new benchmarks for efficiency in the industry.
