In a significant milestone for India’s agri-tech and dairy technology sector, Pune-based Areete Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has been granted a patent for its indigenous innovation, the “IoT-Based Cattle Health and Heat Monitoring System”, commercially known as Ayushman Cowfit. The patent (No. 568852) was officially granted on 18th July 2025, further strengthening the company’s commitment to developing farmer-centric technologies under the Make in India initiative.

The innovation leverages Internet of Things (IoT) technology to help dairy farmers monitor the health and reproductive cycles of their cattle in real time. The company acknowledges the support received from Indigram Labs Foundation – TBI (Supported by DST, GoI), BAIF Development Research Foundation, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) during its product development journey.

Key Features of Ayushman Cowfit:

  • Real-time cattle health monitoring and early warning system
  • Precision heat detection for improved reproductive efficiency
  • Scalable and adaptable for different farm structures
  • Designed to support both indigenous and crossbred cattle

Industry experts view this patent as a step forward for the Indian dairy industry, which continues to adopt data-driven solutions for herd management. By bridging the gap between technology and grassroots farming, Areete Business Solutions aims to further contribute to smart farming practices and the long-term growth of India’s dairy sector.
