🚀 Major Investments by Shreeja and Mother Dairy Set to Transform Kuppam’s Rural Economy

In a landmark announcement aimed at propelling the economic transformation of Andhra Pradesh’s Kuppam region, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled strategic investments from Shreeja Milk Producer Company and Mother Dairy. The initiative, aligned with the government’s Swarna Andhra Vision, is expected to significantly uplift the dairy and agri-processing sectors while generating local employment.

During a meeting on Monday, CM Naidu confirmed that land allotments have been made under the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) for both companies to establish industrial units. Shreeja will launch a state-of-the-art dairy and animal feed processing facility. At the same time, Mother Dairy will set up a fruit pulp processing unit focused on value addition and direct farmer procurement.

These integrated facilities are projected to create approximately 8,000 jobs, with a direct positive impact on local farmers through improved procurement systems and assured markets. “These ventures will drive inclusive development by increasing rural incomes and ensuring direct farmer engagement,” the Chief Minister stated, urging timely project execution within 15 to 18 months.

This collaboration marks a significant move towards sustainable dairy farming, value-added agri-processing, and regional economic revival. Both companies are expected to promote efficiency, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance price realisation by prioritising direct farmer linkage and processing at the source.

Industry experts have welcomed the move as a blueprint for dairy-integrated rural development, particularly given the increasing interest in organic milk production, value-added dairy products, and sustainable agricultural models.
