Arun Icecreams Makes New York India Day Parade Debut, Strengthens US Expansion

Hatsun Agro Product’s flagship brand Arun Icecreams marked its first appearance at the New York India Day Parade on August 16, 2026, as the dairy company looks to strengthen its presence in the US market.

Held on Madison Avenue, the parade provided Arun Icecreams with an opportunity to showcase its products to a large Indian and international audience. The brand featured a specially designed float and consumer engagement booths, distributing more than 15,000 ice creams during the event.

The brand showcased several products, including Butterscotch Sandwich, Cream n Cookies Donuts, Vanilla Bites, Popitos Kacha Mango and Malai Kulfi.

Arun Icecreams expands US presence

The New York parade debut comes as Arun Icecreams continues its expansion into the United States. The company is using the event to increase brand visibility and introduce its product portfolio beyond its established South Indian market.

R.G. Chandramogan, Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product, described the participation as an important milestone in Arun Icecreams’ international journey. He highlighted the opportunity to introduce the brand’s products to a wider consumer base in the US.

The company’s US strategy comes as Indian dairy and food brands increasingly look towards international markets, particularly regions with large Indian-origin populations.

Hatsun’s wider dairy portfolio

Arun Icecreams is part of Hatsun Agro Product’s broader dairy portfolio, which includes Arokya Milk, Hatsun Dairy Products, ibaco, HAP Daily, Hanobar, Havia, Aniva and Santosa.

Hatsun procures milk from more than 5 lakh farmers, giving the company a substantial domestic supply network. Its HAP Daily distribution network also operates more than 4,200 outlets across several Indian states.

The company maintains ISO 22000 certification for food safety and quality management.

US market presents new opportunities and challenges

The US expansion provides Arun Icecreams with access to a large and diverse consumer market, but establishing a long-term presence will require the company to adapt its distribution and supply-chain operations to local market conditions.

For frozen dairy products, maintaining consistent temperature control throughout transportation, storage and retail distribution will be particularly important. The company will also need to navigate US food regulations, labelling requirements and competition from established ice cream brands.

The New York India Day Parade therefore represents more than a promotional opportunity. It could serve as an early step in building consumer awareness and testing the appeal of Arun Icecreams among US consumers.

As Hatsun Agro Product continues to expand internationally, the company’s ability to combine its established dairy supply chain with local distribution and consumer preferences will be key to turning the US debut into sustained market growth.
